Could you help Ace Music Therapy grow its impact?

We are looking for a new Non-Executive Director with fundraising experience to join our Board and support the future of Ace Music Therapy CIC.

Ace is an award-winning social enterprise working across Essex and London, using music therapy to support children, adults and families of all ages and abilities. Our aim is simple. To make music therapy accessible to those who need it most.

This voluntary role would suit someone with experience in fundraising or income development who wants to use their skills in a meaningful way. You might have worked with trusts and foundations, corporate partners, individual donors, or wider fundraising strategy. What matters most is a genuine interest in our mission and a willingness to share your insight and ideas.

The commitment is light but valuable, around 8 to 10 hours a year, including quarterly online meetings. You would work alongside our directors as a supportive and constructive voice, helping us think clearly about how we raise funds, build relationships and grow sustainably.

You do not need previous board experience. We are keen to hear from people who are thoughtful, collaborative, and care about inclusion, community and the power of music.
