Still Sharp
We have created this choir for people with Alzheimer’s and Dementia and their friends, family and carers. Singing is one of THE MOST beneficial activities for everyone to do, but especially for people with Alzheimer’s and Demenita. This is because it targets parts of our brains that nothing else can, allowing us to feel calm, happy and connected to those around us.
It will run for 10 weeks, completely free of charge, as we have been awarded funding by the Essex County Council Arts and Cultural fund. At the end of the 10 weeks we will be holding an exciting performance for all 4 of our inclusive choirs to come together, accompanied by a local band! (date and venue TBD)

PLEASE NOTE: Due to no sign-ups, we will now be holding this choir at Cherry Wood Care Home in Chelmsford for the residents there to enjoy!
